CyberPatriot is the National Youth Cyber Education Program At the center of CyberPatriot is the National Youth Cyber Defense Competition. The competition puts teams of high school and middle school students in the position of newly hired IT professionals tasked with managing the network of a small company. Alamo ISSA is committed to supporting the CyberPatriot Program, CyberTexas and the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce in the development of our cyber workforce. Goals:
How can you help? A CyberPatriot team has a coach (school faculty), students, and technical mentors and/or team assistants. Technical Mentors play a critical role in the success in the CyberPatriot program. Our chapter members have the technical expertise to provide the right guidance to the student competitors. How do I get started? The first step is to register as a CyberPatriot volunteer. The process requires some personal information and a background check every 2 years performed by the CyberPatriot Program Office. What is the commitment? The commitment is up to you.
