This meeting will be held in person at Maggiano’s Little Italy – The RIM 17603 I-10, San Antonio, TX 78257. Note: this event is scheduled over lunch and will include a single speaker. There will NOT be a happy hour following this event. Seating is limited to the first 60 people to register. ISSA will follow the guidance of the city of San Antonio RE: social events/gatherings.
NOTE: Remote attendance will be available for this event and next month in July. Beginning in August, remote attendance will not be available, and future ISSA events will return to the standard format and be conducted in person.

U.S Government focus on Cyber: Cyberspace Solarium Commission, National Defense Authorization Act 2021, Presidential Executive Order on Cybersecurity, and the New (old) National Cybersecurity Team
Abstract:
This session will update the members regarding the three major directives impacting on the US Cybersecurity and what some people are saying is the Cybersecurity “Dream Team” put together by the Biden Administration some of which have been conformed and some who are moving through Senate Confirmation. This is an important move forward if the team can move forward with the public / private partnerships intended by this new paradigm.
