Panel Topic Discussion:

How are Bad Actors using Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to change or innovate automation to create new attack vectors. Are these innovations forcing companies to deploy advanced heuristic solutions and replace signature-based solutions? 

Panel Topic Abstract:

The panel will explore how bad actors might be using AI and ML to enhance and automatic their attacks to create new attack vectors and increase the attack surface.  From their vantage points in the SIEM space, do the panelists believe that the bad actors are using these innovations to identify vulnerabilities faster and exploit them faster.  Does this innovation in the hands of the bad actors force companies to deploy advanced heuristic solutions and replace signature based solutions?  Are their identifying features that companies can look for in attack scenarios to help them defend their ecosystems? We will spend about an hour chatting with the panelists about these area.

Kenneth Cardona is an RSA field specialist focusing on forensic capabilities derived from EDR, Network, and SIEM. With 6 years’ experience in the information security industry, he regularly consults on RSA’s security and risk management solutions. His information security experience spans across multiple verticals including oil and gas, aviation, and government. He has presented on RSA's behalf nationally at cybersecurity events sponsored by U.S. Army, Sirius Security, Unique Digital Partners, FutureCon, and other organizations.


Chris Jordan | Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Fluency

Chris Jordan is the CEO and co-founder of Fluency, an award-winning cyber security innovator that offers extended SIEM technology relied upon by many of the country’s most discerning organizations. Committed to providing enhanced cyber security awareness for today’s hybrid work forces, small businesses and multi-office organizations, Chris leads a forward-thinking team of experts that  leverage advanced  behavioral analytics and machine learning to address the needs of diverse and distributed networks.

Founding Fluency in 2013 with the aim to address the impact of new audit-heavy technologies such as gateways and endpoint security, he is a recognized expert in endpoint detection and response (EDR) and reducing alert noise. A serial entrepreneur, he sold his last company, Endeavor Security, to McAfee in 2009 and frequently serves as a thought leader in industry and business publications. With more than 30 years of highly technical cyber security experience, Chris previously worked with several federal government agencies and is an active member of numerous industry associations. He holds degrees in computer science from Virginia Tech and George Mason University.
